Meet Bradley Girdwood, DDS

The Professional Side

A long-time resident of Lebanon, OH, Dr. Bradley Girdwood is a graduate of Dayton Christian High School (Miamisburg, OH), where he was a student council member and a four-year letterman on the varsity golf team, helping the team win its first sectional tournament title in school history and make its first district tournament appearance. After graduating from DCHS as valedictorian, he attended The Ohio State University, initially studying computer engineering because of his passion for technology, before switching to biology to pursue a career in dentistry. Having grown up in an environment of service, both at school and at church, Dr. Girdwood decided to become a dentist to have a more direct and personal impact on the lives of the people in his community.

As a second-generation dental professional, Dr. Brad Girdwood understands the importance of a person’s smile and its impact on their life. The son of an orthodontist, Dr. Girdwood was familiar with oral healthcare and its importance to people’s lives and well-being. After researching the field himself, he discovered a work environment full of positivity and found that he shared his father’s passion for improving oral health. To pursue this goal, Dr. Girdwood completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was accepted into The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he studied for four years before graduating Cum Laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2019.

After graduating from Ohio State, Dr. Girdwood improved his clinical and diagnostic skills through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in Middletown, OH, which he completed in partnership with New York University’s Langone Medical Center, and received his certificate in July 2020. Dr. Girdwood is eager to bring the skills and techniques he’s learned both in school and in private practice to further serve the communities and patients in the Greater Cincinnati area.

The Personal Side

When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Girdwood enjoys supporting sports teams all across the globe, most notably his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, all the Ohio pro teams, FC Barcelona, and Formula 1. He is an avid gamer and book reader, and enjoys the stories and experiences that games and books can provide. During the warmer months, he can be found enjoying hikes, birdwatching, cycling, running, and supporting his parents at triathlons. He is also a proud uncle to three nephews and loves supporting their athletic and academic activities wherever they go. When at home, he loves spending time with his cat, Aldo.
